Unfortunately, our experience at Hotel 3232 was negative from the start. The check-in process was chaotic — we were not given clear instructions, nor were we told which of the two buildings our reservation was in. After a long trip, this was very frustrating. When we finally got to the room, things only got worse. The room was dirty, with stained walls and clear signs of neglect. To make matters worse, we couldn’t turn on the air conditioning. We called the front desk for assistance on how to adjust the temperature, but they were unhelpful and did not resolve the issue. Another major disappointment was the bed. I specifically booked a room with a Queen bed, but we were given a much smaller Full-size bed. This lack of respect for what was booked and paid for is unacceptable. In short, this was an unpleasant experience on every level. I would not recommend this hotel and will certainly not be staying here again.

Toilet kept running, bathtub faucets would not turn off, hangers broken, knobs for AC did not work, curtains would not close. No peep hole. Two buildings to the property. Pictures online did not reflect the 2nd building, thus were misleading. Would not let us change rooms despite our complaints.

Pulled out the sofa bed then put it rightback up after seeing just how dirty and full of crumbs and dirt it was. Did not use the sofa at all. We decided to head out and spent all day out and only return after midnight. The 3 of us including our 11 yr older daughter piled into the one bed, it was too small to fit the 3 of us comfortably. So I took the chair from bt the desk, propped my feet up on the air conditioner and tried to get some sleep that way. The staff was really nice though, so nice I felt bad to say anything bad to them about the place, even when they told me the parking was located on the next block and I had to pay the discounted peicw of $30.00 each time I parked the car and by 8pm the parking location had closed for the day.

I don't know where this lobby photo was taken, but it surely is not anywhere on this property. The lobby is very small and cramped. Exhausted customers were draped over every piece of furniture waiting to check in to their rooms. We had a debacle with check in that cost a member of our party $175 to check in since the reservation was not in her name. This despite multiple messages to the hotel providing her name and requesting that she have access to the room. A room reserved for three adults, with a kitchenette, did not provide enough coffee mugs, glasses, linens or hangers. The furniture looked like it had been picked up off street corners. The location was great for a quick walk to the #6 subway. We were busy tourists and didn't spend much time in our room, in part because it just wasn't comfortable. Oh, and a mystery $30 per night "service charge" was added at check in. What service?

32/32 is solid choice for midtown, if not special in any way. The location is very convenient to the 6 subway line, and Penn Station is just a few blocks away. Staff were very welcoming. My room was decent sized for Manhattan, though I was not given the studio I had booked, and the balcony was too tiny to be usable, plus it looked out on a dreary stairwell. The rooms would benefit from some updating as well.

Rooms are small. Property needs major upgrades. Our A/C went out and was told to just open our window the rest of the night for air. They “said” the hotel was booked, so they couldn’t get us in another room— we were given a fan until checkout the next morning. The staff as a whole was pretty nice. But I don’t think I would recommend or stay here again.

Web photos deceiving. 1st night room was very noisy with some shrieking mechanical noise of an alley trash compactor going on until 3am. Changed rooms to a quieter place with a large balcony. Still, ceiling in the bathroom was fallimg apart and needed new drywall. Toilet was not fully attached to the floor. Black scuff marks all over the bedroom wall.
