This is definitely one of those moments where you get less than what you pay for. The hotel wasn’t morbidly horrible but it’s more along the lines of a cheap motel. When I initially checked in, they gave me a room on the 8th floor that had one dem light, no wall paper and a hole in the wall. After switching the room to the first floor it had better lighting and aesthetics but no blanket nor iron. Pros: -It’s affordable. -Centrally located. -Water gets really hot. Cons: -Customer service is uninviting. -The towels are dingy. -There was a crack in the window on the first floor. -No refrigerator in your room. -Vending machines will take your money without giving you your purchase. -There wasn’t a blanket on the bed. It was a curtain. -Towels are not replenished daily nor is there a daily cleaning option. -The walls and doors and very thin and you can hear everything outside of your room. -Smelled like weed in the hallways. I recommend readers to tread carefully. I recommend the hotel to get a handyman and do some remodeling.

Too expensive for what it was, not clean, no soap was provided, no one came to clean in 3 days... Location is okay close to 2 subway lines, but for the price you might as well stay in the city.

The room was clean, receptionist friendly and helpful. Bad part was that room heat was too high and wall controls did not work. I went to front desk at 2am for help. He sent 2 workers who tried to change heat and couldn’t. I said I needed a different room but they didn’t understand English. I told them to just turn it off at the register and they did. I was unable to turn back on when room got too cold so I was unable to sleep. At checkout, I told receptionist that HVAC didn’t work, he said I could have gotten a different room. Very frustrating. It was in the middle of the night, I would have had to get dressed to go down again. Phone got hotel was a recording

Fresh, unique, no frills, but my new top favorite
It was surprisingly better than anticipated. It's basically got a motel vibe but without the itchy brownish red throws and sheets that have that not clean but not sorry texture to them....when I say it had a motel-ish vibe I'm referring to the front desk being behind glass protection box which I'm not making a good or bad notion of that. It was just what it is...what's amazing about this place is it has the PROs of staying Motel over a hotel with a 100-200 dollars you may not see again until 15-30 days later. Let me summeriaze. This location was the dark horse and surprised me how comfy, modern, and cozy I felt staying here. The sound of the train running below the view of our room was quite perfect amount of background noise at a oddly calming sound level. I had a sense of comfort and nostalgia as it would patter across the track ever so soft and only every 45 minutes sometimes hr 30 minutes in the earlier hours nearing sunrise....since my 1 night stay here I always look to see their availability whenever nearby. My favorite new hidden eacape....this is it. It is what it is but it has something unique and special you need to experience yourself to grasp my rambling words. Don't forget you TV remote at reception desk ( it's not in the room, they give it to you downstairs from the ice hockey team Bronx 365 motel..I mean Hotel players box). This place is Fresh un-cookie cutter experience. Just check it out so you understand. Thank me later.
