Beware that there is a charge of nearly $46 per night plus tax that wasn't clear when booking through Expedia. It was hidden in the property details, so I wasn't aware of it until we arrived home and received an additional bill of £187. In addition there is a TV in the room, with no available channels, apart from YouTube and netflix. YouTube didn't work and you need to sign on with your own netflix account. Water pressure was so rubbish that you could only have a Luke warm shower and no opportunity to have a bath. We were also right by the lift and could hear the bell announcing it's arrival but got used to that. Staff were very helpful and tried fixing the shower (but couldn't do anything about water pressure) Fantastic location in central Manhattan. Would we stay here again,? No, based on the additional charge and shower issues.

The hotel is not worth staying at. The room we paid for stated it had a pull out couch, it did not. No television, they claimed it was being fixed, it was not. No fridge, no microwave, used ice bucket and glasses with old water in them. Was told to email the manager with concerns. Never heard anything back. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.

The room was small but its nyc. Unfurtunately there was ny comfy chair. A demerit. Sink did not drain but im sure that will be fixed. Trash bins had no liner. TV was on an unusual YouTube schedule. Be sure to get instructions at the front desk.

Location was great, however pics online made hotel room seem nicer than it was. Common Balcony area shown online looked nice however when we took food to go sit out there were no tables and chairs to sit on & none in site. -I was told the bell man could call us a cab for 5:45am the next morning to head to the airport. He took our info (time, airport location, etc.) however no cab ever showed up. Thankfully the morning bellman went out and flagged a cab down for us.

Hotel is broken down literally falling apart my room was completely broken paint cracks broken blinds the only thing saving this place was the bed was comfortable. Really a hotel just to shower and sleep

I don't know if it was just my room or if this is an ongoing problem with the condition of this hotel but our room smelled really bad, like mold/musty/mildew. There is no way to open any windows so we felt trapped in the space breathing in whatever it was. Its too bad because the location is excellent and the beds were comfortable, but the carpets I believe were maybe wet from a past experience and never removed, hence the strong smell.

The hotel rooms and facilities were clean, although much of furniture and lamps were old and need replacement. The bed was comfortable. Surprisingly, there’s not an option for live television or cable. Streaming is possible, but slow. No food or snack options available at hotel, but there is a diner-style restaurant next-door that is good for breakfast. The location is fantastic, with easy walks to 5th Ave., Rockefeller Center, Central Park, and the theater district The front desk and bellhop are eager to please.
