The rooms were very noisy. I could hear every conversation in the next room. During the late evening hours, I called the front desk numerous times to get help with the noise but no one answered. In the morning I spoke to the front desk but they said to call if it happened again. The next night, there was vomit in the hallway, screaming people and no answer at the front desk. I would not stay there again.

Nearly perfect
The only downside was lack of coffee maker/refrigerator in the room. Prepare yourself for that, and everything will be perfect. Desk staff was incredibly friendly, check-in went very smoothly. We were lucky enough to have a room with an actual "view" instead of a view of the next building -- all to common in NYC. I would definitely stay here again.

This is our second time to stay in this beautiful boutique hotel. The rooms are lovely - very clean, modern and large by New York standards. The included breakfast at the French patisserie (attached to the hotel) is a lovely touch. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for a shopping and theatre trip. There are two very convenient subway stations (72nd and 79th Street. 72nd Street Station has an elevator which is very useful when arriving or departing with suitcases. ) My friend and I come every two years to New York for 4 nights. This is the only hotel we have chosen to return to and we have already decided that we will return again on our next trip. Thank you Hotel Belleclaire for enhancing our New York experience.

Me hospedé junto a mi esposa y disfrutamos una estadía inmejorable. Personal sumamente atento, siempre con la disposición de atender nuestras consultas y solicitudes. El desayuno en Mille-feuille Bakery es simplemente espectacular, la atención de su personal es igual de maravillosa. La zona permite disfrutar comida para todos los gustos (hay opciones veganas cercanas al hotel) a cualquier hora. El hotel está ubicado en un espacio maravilloso, cerca de una estación de metro (79 St) desde la cual se puede llegar en minutos y de forma directa a midtown o downtown, además invita a caminar por Broadway Avenue o Amsterdam Avenue, donde se concentran restaurantes, bares, cafes, etc. Las instalaciones del hotel cumplen con cualquier demanda, nuestra habitación era óptima para nuestra estadía en NYC. Me quedo corto con la descripción, por lo que lo resumiré en una frase; lo recomendamos al 100% y esperamos volver pronto. New York enamora!

I stayed here in August and the suite was much better. There was room to move around and the bathroom wasn’t tiny. I felt like the door opened right into one of the beds and it wasn’t clean. The floors are very scuffed and furniture is worn.

It was a perfect size and location. I was there with two grands to visit a third grand a Columbia It could not have been easier and more pleasant to use as our home base. The ability to have three of us in one room and breakfast options in the downstair bakery made it economically perfect.

Perfect spot when you want to walk everywhere!
Enjoyed our stay very much! All the staff - from the check-in slerks to the service personnel - were friendly and professional. We walked much of the time in the Upper West Side/Central Park area and this was the ideal location.
