This is my fourth stay at The Giraffe. The bed (firmness, linens, pillows) is probably the most comfortable I've ever slept in while away from home. For the price, would like them to update their lighting and bathrooms. I usually get upgraded to a larger room and/or balcony, but no dice this time -- still, one of the largest rooms you'll find in NYC and in a great neighborhood.

Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Continental breakfast was substantial. Coffee bar was available 24 hours in the lobby and generally there was fruit and some pastries available all day. Room was spacious and although the bathroom was small, it worked. There was a small step out balcony that allowed some fresh air (and NYC ambiance). The area is walkable and Madison Square Park nearby.

Had a wonderful stay at Hotel Giraffe. Love taking a long walk in the city, popping by our room for a rest and a restorative coffee or lemon water in the lobby, and then heading right back out. Very comfortable hotel.
