Nice and clean hotel 1/2 block from Times Square. Nothing fancy about the place, just a great and affordable place to stay. Check in was super quick and the staff was all nice and courteous. Multiple USB ports in the room for charging devices and the coffee maker was a nice touch. As with all rooms in NYC, it’s not huge, but is more than adequate for my stay. Noise levels are average for being in a big city. Slept great and a short walk to the TS subway station. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great 5 nights stay in Aura Hotel. Conveniently located only 2 mins from Times Square, the hotel is fairly priced, clean and the staff is friendly and quick to accommodate their guests. I especially want to thank Barbara (reception) for being kind enough to change our room when we raised an issue with the initial room we were given. Also thanks to Carlos for being always friendly and attentive to our needs. We recommend this hotel and will be coming back another time.

Would love to give the Aura fives stars. Good location, quiet, clean, and comfortable. It lost one star when the TV in our first room didn’t work (why we changed rooms), there was trash left over from a previous guest, and the bedside reading lights didn’t work. It lost a second star when, in the second room, the thermostat didn’t work (was fixed), the house phone didn’t work, there was no hot water in the sink, and the shower dropped audibly. All fixable, I guess.
