Perfect location for a trip to see Broadway shows. Clean but spartan. Hard bed but more space in the room than NYC usually offers. Excellent service by hotel staff!

We loved the staff here, and how easy and simple the rooms were. The AC and water heater weren’t great, but I think they’re just a little dated. Aside from that our stay was amazing.

Location was convenient. Very old hotel, mattress might have been older than me- so uncomfortable. Paper thin walls. No hot water for showers (Luke warm at very best and that only lasted maybe 5 minutes then ice cold). TV is tiny and remote did not work had to get up to change channels. Toilet paper was like newspaper and hurt your tush…. But it’s cheap. You get what you pay for!

The only positives about this property was location but even that I would change now as the traffic was way too loud until late. Room was basic, can’t believe there was no kettle which isn’t a luxury anymore! It was so hot in the hotel and room, every day I heard people complaining about the unbearable temperature but members of staff were making a joke about it or suggesting to keep the windows open or drink cold water! That comment was even from the manager so nothing will change there! Avoid this hotel, there are other options with much better facilities and professional staff at similar price. It felt like this hotel is unmanaged for years, left to slowly die and it’s a such a shame as it could be great place to stay with a little bit of work done, mainly about the management and staff attitude and small changes like dealing with every day issues professionally and effectively… plus the cheapest kettle.. but I don’t think it will happen seeing the manager poor attitude, gossiping behind the reception, making judgements about public people, walking around with her dog, giving this hotel few more years before it will be classified as hostel. Simply avoid, pay couple of hundreds more for much much more comfort and CARE!

Hotel was in a great location, but the hotel is quite old and needs an update. You can hear all the street noise, garbage trucks and people on the streets. Beds were rock hard. I went in with high hopes as it was a great deal but I would not stay again.
