Worst customer service I've ever faced. Our shower pipes were hammering at night (a very loud banging noise), and they failed to either fix it or move us to another room for three days. Got woken up by the noise every single night. They had no interest in helping us and kept giving us weak excuses, very frustrating. The last night, we came to our room to find a bag full of trash, probably a petty revenge on us.

The room I booked purported to be “De Luxe”. The room we were given had nothing luxurious about it. It had two windows that looked directly onto a wall and let in negligible light. We returned to reception and among confusion were told the hotel was fully booked and that it was Expedia that introduced the De Luxe reference. We were not impressed by the buck passing. We were also told the room was superior because it was on a higher floor ( 6th of 12, the first 3 taken up by reception etc!?) it clearly wasn’t a view of Manhattan that led to the floor being beneficial and there was no traffic in the metre or so space between the windows and the adjacent brick wall.

The gentleman at the front desk upgraded us to a suite. Wasn't expecting it, so a wonderful surprise. Room was great. Hotel in the heart of vibrant Koreatown. Breakfast isn't much, but enough to at least get you out the door.

Love the location as its walking distance from a lot of popular tourist spots as well as the subway and the train station. Friendly staff, nice hotel, solid breakfast included with the stay, it was great! Would definitely recommend or stay again when i come back
