Great property, just salty front desk staff when I told them I was a Hyatt member, but they refused to honor my rewards/points because I booked on Expedia. Disappointing as I stay at this brand often, and other properties have given me my points.

The hotel was easy to locate. The room was clean and cute. Loved the bathroom and the bed was super comfortable. Didnt like the tv kept losing signal and had less tv options to watch. The staff was friendly.

The room was clean & quiet and the service was great. We were within walking distance to the subway station, so getting into the city was very easy. The free breakfast was definitely a free for all—very crowded and not worth the hassle. We found a deli down the street that had great breakfast sandwiches! I would stay here again.

As someone who does not frequently travel to NY, I really enjoyed my stay here. I landed at midnight and took a cab to the hotel and the area at that time was safe and quiet. I was surprised and even walked alone to a nearby street food vendor to grab late dinner, and there were no issues. I felt safe in the area. The hotel staff also keeps the door somewhat automatic locked for protection but when they see you are heading through the first doors they unlock it from inside with no problems.

Located in the midst of Long Island City which is experiencing exploding growth. Convenient to two subway stops. One stop from Manhattan but with far fewer people
