Room was clean, TV had issues but otherwise good hotel. Receptionist had trouble telling us where we should park so if you go it is the lot on the hotel property to the left if facing the hotel.
Below average property for the price. Helpful staff and $20 a day parking in the hotel lot on a first come first serve basis, but my room was pretty grungy with a dirty blanket and zero ambience. The breakfast was unappealing, and the property in general was below average.
Overall a good spot to stay if you're visiting NYC. Can't really be helped that the surrounding area is a bit dodgy, but the hotel itself was safe and clean and had a decent breakfast. The staff isn't overly friendly but they aren't rude. It's super close to the subway as well and has parking for a not exorbitant price, which was key for us.
A clean hotel and comfortable beds. Not much of a lobby and no frills furnishings. In the middle of a developing area in walking distance to most things. We will come back in the future.
We stayed for 3 nights at LIC and had a great experience. Room was cleaned daily and the free hot breakfast was an added plus. Short walk to subway. I would stay again.
The front desk staff was very helpful. Although it is a low building, we were able to enjoy the night view of Manhattan, including the top of the Empire State Building. Be careful as breakfast can be very crowded depending on the time of day. Even though accommodation costs in New York are rising, the price is about 1.5 times what we would expect.
Overall the property is clean and has the basics done right. Breakfast is decent. The TV in the room could be better. Takes too long to change channels. An older system.
Great hotel for the price. Rooftop offered great views of the city. Complimentary breakfast saved us a lot of time and money. Easy 15 minute commute to Manhattan. No complaints!
The WiFi did not work. The front desk said they would check and call me back. They didn’t. The next time I called front desk, they said that the problem was in the area and they couldn’t do anything about it. Why didn’t the hotel contact me to let me know before I arrived? Why didn’t they offer to reduce my bill or give me a discount on my next stay? The furniture and baseboards in the room were scuffed. The remote didn’t work. The stand-alone coat rack wobbled back and forth.
