The stay was ok, nothing too special. The doors on the floor and in the closet were very worn. Not to mention that inside the mini bar in the room there was moldy food from other guests that had certainly been there for many days.

I would give this place between a 3.5 and a 4 star review. This place is BEAUTIFUL and clean, however there isn't free WIFI (it’s 2025, everyone uses the internet this should be included in the $600 per night price). Additionally there is no coffee maker, no fridge, no microwave, and no ice maker . You will have to request all these things, some at an additional cost. Staff at the cafe are a little rude. Some got upset that we asked for a cup of ice water.

The property is very nice, unfortunate that some of the staff was on the edge of being rude. Our plates at breakfast were practically thrown on the table. When we asked for shower gel housekeeping acted as if we asked them to cut off an arm. But on the other hand other staff members were very helpful and kind! Probably depending on who serves you or how wealthy they think you are, although you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover…

The property is beautiful, and staff is top tier, however: my daughter had a bag of souvenirs come up missing from our room. Over $200 worth, which really made her angry. When she spoke to staff about, she was told that she would be refunded the cost of her loss in our room cost. No such refund took place. No word about it from the property, which really left her feeling a bit violated. Our belongings should be safe in our room, without having to worry that housekeeping would just toss it away without a second thought. Left us feeling not so great about a holiday we had planned for months in advance. Except for that big problem, I honestly have no complaints. At over $800 a night, my family should feel safer than this.

This hotel is absolutely stunning! The staff is exceptional. Each staff we encountered was kind and there was a sense of pride in what they did. Our only tiny complaint is the comfort of the mattress and pillows. We were able to overlook this due to the beauty and quality of everything else!

For this hotel to be a 5 star their service is horrible. The drinks they had in the room was $10 for a small can coke $15 for a water. When asked for more waters for our room we were told no. The room was very hot and had no air conditioning options. I understand room service is not a cheap service, but for 1 salad and burger with 2 bottle of waters and a sprite it was $170. There was no breakfast for free as advertised either. We ran out of body wash in the shower and was given hand wash to bath with. For as big and expensive hotel this hotel has been the foremost expensive and rudest place I have ever been

Always love to stay at the Lotte. Top notch all the way. The only complaint this trip was the older man at the concierge desk was rude when we were trying to pick up our stored luggage. One member of our group was sick and I was trying to ask if the concierge workers could possibly deliver our luggage to the room & the man basically yelled at me & told me to "Wait!" in front of several other guests. The other man working at the concierge desk apologized for him and said he was just a little overwhelmed. I understand it happens sometimes, but the rude employee never apologized or even acknowledged me again while I waited, like he told me to do. The other worker helped get our luggage to the room. Other than that isolated incident, the service and experience were great, as usual.

The Lotte is truly great for a visit during Christmas time. They put a lot of effort into making it fun for the whole family. The staff was above excellent. Each encounter was friendly and they always treated us like a top priority. We love the “original” feel to the property. The only critique is that the rooms could use some updating. Small things like wall paper peeling off, loose attachments around the shower, caulking looks rough and unfinished, bathtub wouldn’t drain. Etc. Nothing too major, just some attention to details being that it’s such an expensive rate per night. We would definitely book again.

They only provide you with water in your room the first night. I called the second night asking for water and they told me I had to buy it. I called for a robe and it arrived 45 min later. When I was checking out I called for a bellman he never arrived. Horrible service for such an expensive hotel. I will continue to stay at The Pierre A Taj instead.
