Rooms are nice, clean but bathroom was a little on the small side. Elevators can be a challenge seeing how you have to take two different ones. One elevator from street to lobby and lobby to rooms. Can get very backed up. Rooftop bar has amazing views.

I had a fabulous time celebrating my birthday with a staycation at M Social last month! The room was spotless, quiet, and offered a beautiful view of the city, which was exactly what I needed. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and made my birthday feel special by sending up complimentary (still and sparkling) water, plus a slice of cheesecake, which was delicious😋. The bar and lounge area, located on the lobby level, had a lively and upbeat vibe with a live DJ both nights I was there. The drinks were strong, the atmosphere was fun, and it really made the evenings feel like an ongoing celebration when coming back from my activities. Overall, M Social was the perfect place for a relaxing and memorable NYC staycation. I'd definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and good energy in the heart of Times Square.

We have always had a good experience in this hotel. This time on the first two days we couldn't get a programmed key card for our room. We had to be escorted by an employee to our room to get the door open. This happened with several guests so each time we had to wait in the lobby. This thing of escorting guests and probably receiving complaints from the guests obviously seemed to bother the hotel staff who wasn't too friendly in his manners. This was solved late on the second day of stay. Then everything ran smoothly.

What was unique about the property is that it charged me one amount for both the deposit and resort/city fee. Most hotels would charge separate amounts, and this is what I appreciated the most about this hotel. The front desk staff was helpful and they kindly gave me a wake-up call as I had requested. They allowed me to check out an hour and 15 minutes past the check out time (11 AM). One of the housekeepers (unsure of the name unfortunately, but she was working on Saturday morning, particularly around 12 PM), was very patient with me and asked me if I was checking out today to ensure that I did not need anything. She also let me back into my room as my card wouldn't open given it was past my check-out time. The guy downstairs that works overnight (this was on Friday night), unsure what his name was unfortunately, was able to help me with parking and advised me that street parking was free from and until a certain time. The day I checked out (Saturday around 4:30 to 05 PM), there were two handsome guys standing outside the hotel and I figured they worked there. I walked up to them and asked for my bags as I was leaving NY. They were able to help me retrieve them from the baggage storage area. The very cute guy was the one who handed me the bags and ensured that I was all set and able to carry them all. Thank you very much - I will definitely come back to that same hotel whenever I am NY again! Thanks guys :)

I had a great stay at M Social Hotel. The location is extremely convenient—close to public transit, shops, and restaurants—making it easy to explore the city. Despite being in a central area, the hotel was remarkably quiet, allowing for a restful night's sleep. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was modern yet welcoming. I’d definitely stay here again.

For a more mature traveller this place was not ideal. There is dining in the lobby level but it’s like dining in a club. Loud music and nowhere to sit and chill. Prefer somewhere with a public space that isn’t so in your face public.

The hotel is very nice. Great outdoor terrace. The rooms also very nice. My only criticism is that my husband said the shower was very slippery. As someone with a problem with balance, I forgo having a shower this morning.
