1. Never seen such a small size room (for the price paid) in my 3 decades of traveling 2. Room rate is exorbitant as compared to its worth, but it may be because of its location in NY. 3. Number given on hotel.com is not a working number 4. When I reached at around 7 pm I could not enter hotel as there was a digital lock - now how can a first timer have code to enter the hotel ? - There was no one at the reception - As mentioned above, phone number is non-working number, so could not connect - Luckily one hotel resident came and I was able to enter 5. No place to work or put something or eat. 6. No lift. Luckily I had only 1 bag. 7. Lights switch off automatically in around 15 minutes as it has motion sensor. That was very annoying. As we need to move in that area to start again. 8. Very noisy inside and outside. Luckily I had to stay there for a night only in transit. But if someone comes with family, it’s going to be very very challenging stay.

“Where did I go wrong in my life!” OK, it wasn’t actually that bad, but that was the question that played in my head every time I walked into this place. I didn’t realize the quality of hotel I was headed for when I made this booking. I don’t know crime statistics for the area, but this is definitely one of the last places in Manhattan that still feels sketchy. If you need to save the $30 a night by staying here instead of somewhere else… it’s doable. But there’s nothing nice about the area, the hotel, or the rooms. Does give you a place to sleep, though.

OK for the price I was able to get.
If I'd paid full price I'd be less satisfied, but for a price fluke through hotels.com, it wasn't so bad. If I'd been staying longer, I might've wet-Swiffered the floor myself; otherwise it was passable enough. Sorry to hear about the horror stories that other guests had.

Needs elevators. Also could hear next door very loudly no insulation. But if you’re traveling solo it’s good for the price and you get your privacy. Would stay again for solo trip

The room was extremely small. No coffee maker. No microwave. No fridge . No table . The stand alone closet was too small. If none of that matters to you and all you need is a bed and a shower, then this is your place to stay. Staff are very friendly . Inside of building is clean.

Location is good, short walk to Penn station, easy to get to JFK, easy to walk to to some major areas . Solo travel, room is very small, everything is tiny. Front desk people are friendly . A few items in room damaged or not working , but it was as expected for this price . If you do not care about the comfort and just need a room to sleep , this might work.

my room smelled like bleach. there was a fly I had to kill upon walking in. sheets and pillows were stained so I had to sleep on top of the comforter, which looked decently clean. staff didn't provide me with free wifi, however, they were super kind and welcoming. the overall room plus bathroom has to be 150 sq ft. super tiny. hotel only provides complimentary shampoo/soap.

There is no front desk person. After inspection my sheets looked dirty. It may just be stains, but still. Also i had no blinds in my room and the curtains were thin.

The bedsheets were stained with all types of different colors, this was by far the most disgusting place I have ever stayed. The room smelled like smoke, there was garbage in the room. It was disgusting and unsanitary.

Room was small, but that was to be expected. The sheets were soft. Art in the lobby was a little weird, but can’t complain too much. Only bad part was how thin the walls were. I’m from a big city, so I figured I’d be fine… barely slept it was so loud. Recommend bringing ear plugs for sure.
