The property is in a great location for walking pretty much anywhere to see the “sights”. The room was clean and the view was nice. I do dislike the late check in however. 4:00pm is late if you have an early flight or arrive early. I do like the fact they will hold your luggage for you while you wait for your room. All in all I would stay again at this hotel due to location and the room was nice size and clean.

Lobby looks nice, housekeeping & bell staff are friendly. Thank you again to the front desk lady who accommodated an earlier check-in & higher floor for us! Now for the room itself - not impressed :( Very outdated; a revamp is definitely needed. I didn’t even bother taking pictures but wow the carpet, fridge, toilet & tub looked really old. Most hotels I stayed at utilizes bidet toilets & modern shower designs but this was very basic. Did not feel like a 4-star hotel. At least the water was very hot & bed was decently comfortable.

The location of the hotel was great for uptown manhattan!! Broadway, Times Square and close to Subway!! Bryant park just around the corner, Central Park a short walk away! The rooms are spacious but could do with a little updating! Lamps in our room were laughable every evening - took ages to turn off! Had to move the bedside table to use the plugs (I like to charge my phone close to the bed) Bed sheets were clean but old, and bathroom was a little tired. Nothing bad just dated and I suppose we got the space so have to compromise somewhere! Even though we were 40 levels up you could still hear a little traffic during the night and the wailing of the NYFD trucks. It’s NYC so what do you expect! Check in and out was easy! Stored our bags for us like I expect they all do. Overall not a bad place to stay!

The water pressure was amazing. The hot water for the shower lasted forever. The beds were comfortable. The evevators went from the 1st floor to the 34th floor in 5 seconds. Were able to see a partial view of Times Square and EmpireState building.

The location was beyond perfect, right in the heart of Times Square. But, it listed a coffee maker and fridge in the room and came with neither. They were able to get me a coffee maker, but NO fridge and my hubby had meds. The floor we were on had NO ice the whole time. The doorman was delightful and helpful. The room was big, but a little outdated. Overall great for staying in the heart of NYC without spending too much!

Ideal theater hotel

Ideal location; only a 10 minute walk from the theaters we went to as well as the restaurants. Quite area, slept undisturbed. Next door to two wonderful experiences: RiseNy and the Broadway Museum.

This property is labeled as a 4 star property but everything about it screams 2 stars. We stayed on a higher level floor so we can see Times Square. When we walked into the room, the AC was not working properly…. We had to fix that. The room feel dingy, you could see dirt on the door, the lock to the door did not work as well as what it should have, the bathroom didn’t have a vent in it, the furniture was very old and dated, the bed was hard, and when you sit quietly trying to go to sleep… you don’t hear Times Square… you hear the elevators grinding up and down. I understand being in a very urban area, I am perfectly fine with that… but that also means the property you stay at has more resources to keep their areas clean… and this place did not. The chair legs were almost broken on the chair as well. To top all of this off, as my wife and I are leaving this morning, the doorman walked outside and put our bags in a can and just rudely said … where is my tip? Overall, while the location is great… the hotel has a lot to be desired. They didn’t even have a restaurant in the building… it was separated by a rolling barricade.

The property is very old and not very well taken care of. The rooms have broken furniture, dirty bathrooms, and dusty furniture. There is no restaurant/bar, as it has been closed for 5 years. Centrally located and you can walk to time square.

My only suggestion to improve is paper cups in hotel room and add a small refrigerator since no food is available on site. The lil gift shop is great for soda or candy but you need to refrig the item if you don’t consume at one time

The room was not at all like pictured on the website. (We had a king room with city view). The room was extremely small, filthy, and had bugs. After complaining about the room, we were able to get a different room but it was not a king room nor had a city view. My experience was terrible and I highly would NOT recommend!!!
