Perfect hotel ! I love the outside roof top . Breakfast was awesome . They brought drinks daily . I will recommend and stay whenever possible . This was by far the best hotel I have ever stayed in !

Great location. Room was comfortable and staff was very nice but the added daily "resort charge" was ridiculous at a property with no pool, restaurant or bar. $80 for wifi and breakfast access????

The property itself is gorgeous and the staff is great. However the hotel does have some room for improvement. The first night I was only given two body towels, no wash cloth no floor towel, just two body towels. The toilet in my room kept running all day and night. The second night I did receive the full set of towels but they had a strong smell as if they were stored in a closed area for way too long. Lastly although the breakfast is free they only had bread items, no eggs or protein at all. The hotel was nice for a little bit but not the best place to stay quite frankly.

room is small without chair, sofa , desk, one of the electric outlet is out of function, body washer , shampoo are out and not be able to replenished after 2 days of call for service , apparently , they did not check when they did the room cleanings, we were put in wheelchair access room with no show door and the water is spread all over the floor in the restroom, the toilet is not working well , has to flush many times to be sure it is clean, the room is just not well maintained, sorry to say that,

Honestly, pretty basic room but the location makes it pricey. Don’t even bother with breakfast to be honest, I was fooled with that allure. It’s just toast, bagels, coffee, basic yoplait yoghurt, cereal, green bananas, butter, jam and cream cheese; so if you were looking forward to eggs or anything protein, don’t waste your time thinking the price is good because you get breakfast.

The Mondrian Park Avenue is a pretty nice hotel--the location is good (close to pretty much everything) but the hotel feels old. The curtains in the room were ragged. The rug was dirty. The couch in the room was stained. It just felt like the hotel's been allowed to decay and it's slowly going down hill. I had a pleasant stay (the bed was delicious) but I wouldn't say it is an upscale hotel. Also, the breakfast that's included--it's pretty much just bread and coffee.

Things I liked: - brand names for toiletries - separate wifi network for streaming - ac worked well and water pressure was good - safe was not in the open - so many mirrors - usbs in wall plugs - table and chair made it feel like you had a day time area and a sleeping area - location. Location was superb. Walking distance to so many things. And subway was close by. - mini fridge - water access - rooftop terrace Things I didn’t like/weren’t what I expected: - the mini fridge was small. (Very narrow think as deep as a can on its side, top to bottom) - unlimited water was great. But anytime I called to ask for it I had to call a second time to actually get it. - the free breakfast is a continental breakfast. Pastries, yogurts, cereal, pancakes, bagels and fruits. There are no eggs Benedict (or eggs or meat for that matter) and I don’t know why they show a photo of them. - the expedia description mentioned a robe (and possibly slippers). My room had neither. My room also didn’t have an iron which I was surprised about. I didn’t call to ask for one so not sure if I could have gotten one on request. - the staff were nice, however this is the only hotel I have stayed at in NYC where there wasn’t someone to help me with bring my bags to my room. Given its star rating I was surprised by this. - apparently there is a black car service to the airport. I don’t know if this is advertised anywhere but only found out at checkout. Overall I definitely would stay here again.

I am incredibly disappointed with my stay at this hotel. Everything was fine until the checkout on Wednesday when I was given a paper receipt and noticed they had charged me for an extra night of parking. I have no idea why this happened as we only parked for one night. When I approached the woman at the reception to explain the situation, it should have been simple to resolve. Instead, she kept asking me the same questions repeatedly and acted as though she didn’t believe me. Despite me clarifying that we only used the parking for one night, she insisted on calling the parking service to verify, which was unnecessary and frustrating. What was even worse was her attitude throughout the interaction. She was dismissive, unprofessional, and even said, "You're confusing me," when there was nothing confusing about the issue. It was a straightforward mistake. At the end of our conversation, when I took the paper from her, she reacted by loudly telling me, "DON'T SNATCH THE PAPER FROM ME!" This was completely inappropriate behavior towards a customer and only made the situation worse. I left the hotel feeling angry, disappointed, and disrespected. I will never stay at this hotel again, and I advise others to think twice before booking here. Customer service should be a priority, and that is clearly not the case at this establishment.
