Very small room but did the job for a one night stay. We could hear the rooftop during the day while we were at the hotel, was definitely loud. We just weren't at the hotel until late so it wasn't a problem for us, but had we been at the hotel earlier it might've been. Rooftop access wasn't available when we went (private event) so that was a bummer. We had a corner room so we couldn't hear neighbors. No privacy with the bathroom, beware if you're a new couple or relatively private. Sink, toilet and shower are all separate and the shower and toilet are just frosted doors so you can practically see through. Just a few things to note if you plan to stay here.

Its definitely not worth the price they charge per night. Hotel is not clean, hallway looked dirty, even the outside of our hotel door was dirty. Our room was kinda clean, but not the floor, they cleaned the bathroom and fresh bedding but our floor was not swept. Upstairs rooftop bar is dirty and has sticky floors , wobbly tables and overpriced drinks. If you want a quiet sleep dont stay here u will hear the music from the rooftop all night. Staff: rude and unpleasant. Not helpful. Theres no ice machines and no fridge. If you want ice, u can call and they'll bring it to you (when they feel like it) i had to call a few time's. View from our room was nice, we faced the williamsburg bridge. This place is way to expensive for what you get. It has potential if it were cleaner and had staff that were friendly.

I don’t travel much anymore, and this was my first visit to Brooklyn. The food options and variety were really awesome. We only hit some vintage clothings shops, but it was fun. We had to move my car a few times due to the parking restrictions, but we also never had to pay for parking and we were always within a 10 minute walk to the hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room was overbooked or something and we had to get a different room with different bed arrangements. The staff gave us a credit on room charges for each night because of this. We really enjoyed our stay, and would love to come back if an occasion calls for it. Special thanks to all the hotel staff we interacted with, everyone was incredible.

There are markets and one bodega near it. I will say that if you are looking to stay at a hotel where it’s calm, I would recommend it. The rooms were small, it was roughly 10 minute walk to a nearby subway stop. The walls were thin but luckily we only heard our neighbor once throughout our 5 day stay.

Not the best stay

We were so excited to stay in Brooklyn for the first time, but the Moxy left much to be desired. Check in was fine, and the room was comfortable, but we had a hard time sleeping. Our room was located on the 10th floor near a storage closet and we were met with not only the sounds from the rooftop club, but near constant slamming of doors which left us unable to relax even with a sound machine. We tried to use the rooftop twice and were denied entry due to two different private parties, so do not expect to be able to use this amenity. We ordered drinks at the bar, which were great, but then we were charged an extra $45 which we were only notified about on the summary sent to us after the stay. We have tried 2 times to call the hotel and get this reversed, but they keep forwarding our call to the bar where no one picks up. We loved the location and the view from our room, but for the price I would definitely stay somewhere else next time.

Cool Hotel - Loud on the 10th Floor

Really liked the vibe of this place. Great view of the city, a few bar options within the hotel. Hip and modern place overall in a great location. But when staying on the 10th floor, there is a nightclub above you. That was very loud until very late at night.

I love visiting NY and love the value that Moxy properties provide however I always forget that they do not have a proper enclosed full bathroom. The only time I would choose to stay in a hotel room with that layout is if I am traveling solo.
