Not a $600/night Hilton room.
The place seemed understaffed the entire stay, which is crazy because it is the busiest time of year in NYC. The staff working was nice, but they were overwhelmed. Rooms need to be updated, elevators are slow. I have paid 1/3 as much to stay at Home2 Suites by Hilton (not in NYC) much nicer. Location was great, but this was not Hilton standard I am used too.

It was clean, the reception staff was serious but they communicated with respect and courtesy. I did not like the room, it was totally different from the one shown in the advertisement. The room I received had old furniture, worn curtains, worn out old sofa tapestry, and an ugly view. The room was spacious and had potential, they should decorate it better to make it look more modern. The room shown in the advertisement is totally different. Total disappointment.

We had a great stay. The location is perfect. Walking distance to grand central, 30 Rock and Central Park. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The only small complaint I have is the bathroom could have used a deeper clean.
