You can’t beat this hotel’s location. Easily walkable to Times Square and the Museum of Modern Art, and I walked to the Metropolitan Museum, the Morgan Library and the Columbus Circle area with no problems. Dining options are great, although pricey (it is New York, after all). The room was average: good size, but condition only fair. The headboard was made of vinyl, which was disintegrating and flaking off. Stained towels and mold in the shower, but general cleanliness was adequate. Staff was great.

I really enjoyed the convenience of the hotel. It was in walking distance of 42nd Street as well as 34th Street, which would be perfect for site seeing and shopping. There are a number of different places to eat in the area as well. I wasn’t impressed with the restaurant in the hotel but the lounge bar area was really nice. The hotel itself is a bit dated but overall well kept.
