all I wanted was a convenient location to sleep near times square. this was exactly that. First time in NYC, and I was a little worried about safety since I didn't know the area. but it was a very safe walkback at night.

Friendly and easy to walk to the subways and plenty of food options around. The only thing we believe we had a permanent guest in our room, things would be falling on their own, and the tv turned on by itself twice, we were nowhere near it and not touching any remotes.

The Pod hotels are great. You get exactly what you need. My only complaint for this stay was the mattress was old and worn. Otherwise, the room was great. I was there for business and the desk in the room was very helpful. The lobby had enough space for my colleague and me to meet and discuss business items.

I stayed just one night and I really liked it. Everything was very colorful and beautiful, especially that rooftop with a stunning view. It was clean everywhere, quiet, and comfortable. I would come back if I had the chance. As for the location, it was close to the subway, shops, restaurants, etc.

Pleasantly surprised!!
Pod 51 actually blew my expectations. After reading mostly good reviews, I tried it form myself for 2 nights. The room and bathrooms were super clean, even though the bathrooms were shared. I really don’t have any complaints other than don’t get a room next to the bathrooms because of the constant opening and closing of doors sound.
