Quaint, centrally located, well kept clean, and safe. Try Toasties next door for a quick & delicious bagel breakfast sandwich & coffee. Then go have some fun!

Gosh, this place was so much nicer than I was expecting. The front desk guys were so helpful to me and my mom who was in a wheel chair. We never waited for them to help use the lift. The floors in our room were incredibly clean. The kitchenette was well appointed. The elevators were fast. We hardly ever waited. The location was amazing. Right next to Rock Center and Times Square. Somehow the neighborhood was decently quiet. I can’t wait to come back to NYC to stay here again.

My wife and I stayed here mid september. The location is excellent. 50 metres from 49th st metro station and a 5 minute walk to Times Square. Upon arrival we were met at the steps by a bus boy who carried our luggage to the check-in desk. We were quickly booked in and given a studio apartment on the 12th floor. The studio was well equipped with a large fridge /freezer, oven with 4 ring hob, microwave, coffee machine,kettle and sufficient cuttlery and crockery for two people. My only disappointment was that the cereal bowls were too small. Coffee and toiletries were replaced daily. The main room had a table and two chairs, a three drawer chest, TV, bedside cabinets, air con, an iron and board. The bathroom had sufficient towels and toiletries, which were replaced daily. We experienced no problems with the water. There are 2 elevators which hold around four people with luggage. They can get busy at certain times of day. There are guest services on the 2nd floor. Which include - computer/printer, ice machine, drinks and snacks machines. We found the wifi to be very efficient. The front desk staff were very helpful, and check-in and check-out was quick and easy. There are laundry facilities in the basement which are free of charge to guests after 9pm (However, you may have to queue). We met several guests who said this was their regular hotel when staying in New York and if we come again would not hesitate in returning. I hope you find this review helpful

Our stay was pretty good. The hotel was clean and they came and cleaned the room each day. The place is a bit tired. The carpet in our room was so old it was crunchy where the backing has rotted. We weren't in the room much, so it was fine. It was a decent place to stay. The front desk was efficient in checking us in. They didn't usually greet us when we came back, which was a bit disappointing. We probably wouldn't stay here again, but not because there was anything really wrong with the hotel, but the street noise was really loud. Our room faced 49th Street and it was hard to sleep and it woke us up in the morning.

Great place to stay! Near everything: Broadway, Rockefeller Center, shopping. Everyone is friendly and the rooms are clean and well equipped with coffee machine, microwave, fridge. Perfect place to stay to visit NYC.

The front desk staff was lovely. The room was clean and just as advertised with a good, small kitchen so you can cook if you want. There is a Whole Foods at 42nd & 6th if you are buying groceries. It did get a bit loud at night but that is to be expected in midtown and why I never went there when I lived in NYC. However, the hotel is very centrally located to midtown attractions. There is very easy access to subway lines to go just about anywhere and it’s an easy walk to the park.

This was a great size. Very functional and right in the middle of everything. Beds were like rocks and at 6 feet tall, I did not fit on any of them. That was the ONLY downside though as it was otherwise great!

Great place to stay.
This is a great affordable property. I would stay again. It is a little dated and I knew it was a three star beforehand. It's very clean and has comfortable beds and a great kitchenette.
