I liked the room and the comfortable king size bed. The coffee maker in the room was great, so convenient.
The mini refrigerator in the room was a definite asset which I used for cold drinks and snacks.
The breakfast was delicious, offering a large variety of options, all of them tasty and fresh.
The coffee was terrific.
I enjoyed the cable tv service. My only suggestion is to provide more channels, including premium channels like HBO. It was a pleasant, enjoyable overnight stay, a mini vacation gift to myself to get away in privacy!
This place is not a legit Ramada location. It’s basically a dirty motel with a Ramada sign outside. Room: dirty carpet, holes in curtains, broken air conditioning, missing fridge, missing chair and general cleaning needs improving. Facility: false advertisement- property missing several fringe benefits including a gym and business center. Don’t waste your money here.

No luggage stand. No TV remote. Was told maintenance man would deliver, never did. Wi-fi not available, no reason provided. Turned on water in bath, couldn’t regulate temperature and could not shut water off. Asked to be relocated to another room as no idea when maintenance could repair faucet. After relocating to new room, TV remote did not work and no coffee machine in room.
For my 3 day/2 night stay, the WIFI was down the complete time. The front desk kept saying it was an issue with the provider and can't having different excuses every time I asked when it would be back up. I needed WIFI to log in on my laptop and do work, and was unable to the whole stay. Very disappointing.
Great check in and very accommodating. I was looking for a clean room for one night and it was clean. Some furniture was worn but okay. They were painting & making repairs which is good. Not a bad stay.
This is one of the worst hotels we have stayed in. We were here for a wedding and there were no other vacancies in other hotels in the area. The first room we were given didn’t have a refrigerator for my husbands medicine and was absolutely filthy. Unfortunately, the next room we were given was not as clean as it should have been and extremely small. I have seen closets bigger than the room! I was told the room had just been renovated, well that is hard to believe!!! Since other hotels
didn’t have vaccines, we had no choice but to stay. I will be calling your corporate office to further inform them of other issues we encountered. I will also be calling my credit card officer to stop payment on the charge for the room.
Convenient if you visit Manhattan through the Satten Island ferry (20 minutes drive). Plenty of parking space. Comfortable beds and pillows. A bit noisy due to the proximity of the main road, but bearable if you are tired enough of all day walking. Overall – nice little hotel, that served its purpose for our NY trip.

The place reeks of cigarette smoke from the moment you walk in the lobby. It is a pronounced smell that is noticeable even in the non smoking rooms. The staff handling breakfast (which is a small selection) would handle the food in unsanitary ways (ex. Touching the eggs and sausages with her hands after wiping the counter down). The room wasn’t properly cleaned before check in (there was a condom box left on the bedside table). The one good thing is that it was largely quiet and non-disruptive stay. The smell of cigarettes can be managed by placing a towel by your door and cracking the window to let fresh air in. PS: for black travelers, the manager may automatically assume you’re from Africa and won’t be shy about it.
The manager needs training with customer service and possibly anger management counseling. Super unprofessional with customers. Definitely not a good look for your hotel.
I have stayed at all the major Staten Island hotels and this one is by far the best. It was clean and the staff and manager were exceptional. The Ramada is highly recommended.
Looks can be deceiving. Very old and outdated. There’s mold in the rooms and restroom and the toilet seat was rotten out to the wood. This is disgusting.
