Just a heads up: you WILL be waiting for the elevator for ages if you're trying to use it during peak times. Nothing much to be done about it, but if you're able to take the stairs it can be much faster. The only downside to the stairs is that they exit to the street. Breakfast can get packed pretty fast, I recommend going down early, packing a plate, and taking it back to your room if you don't like crowds. Of course, I was there in mid-July so these issues may both be related to time of year/high occupancy. Rooms are clean, engineering responds quickly (minor issue with the TV remote), and staff was kind.

The hotel is new, and staff is ok. Overall rooms are ok and clean. Even the room size is small, it has own kitchen, so it is good. Only concerns I have; -the neighbor area is poor -limited breakfast space so couldn’t find table easily

I had a great stay at the Residence Inn Queens. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff was consistently friendly and helpful. My room was spacious and everything functioned as expected. However, the area around the property left a lot to be desired — it was noisy, littered, and at times felt unsafe, especially at night. While the hotel is a solid choice for comfort and service, the surrounding neighborhood may not be ideal for everyone.

Good stay except..

The room and location was good. There were questionable looking spots on one of the windows, which did not fill me with confidence so I left my window open for my stay. Front lobby staff was great, but the maintenance crew were very rude. They bumped into me while i was waiting to check-in without any apology and they crowded into an already crowded elevator. They would be the main reason I did not come back.

I had a cancelled flight tonight at LaGuardia and came to this hotel to find a huge check in line, HUGE is an understatement. The three staff members at the front desk worked the line with lightning speed, never acting flustered or panicked and they were very friendly and efficient with each guest. What scared me to death thinking the check in would take forever was surprisingly quick and the room is very nice, exceeds my expecatations.

Great location, near the subway station. The area is not the best but one can walk during the day without a problem. The hotel was clean, the staff were nice. The elevators were the only problem, one was broken, so the other two were packed with the cleaning people and visitors and stopped in every single floor.

1 out of 3 elevators was not working for over a week. No other access to get to the rooms. Long wait line to access elevators. The breakfast area was very busy, however the staff were prompt and kept up the areas clean and fully stocked at all times. The staff were very friendly.

The air conditioner in the room wasn't working, I flagged an employee in the hallway who want able to help me except directing me to use the hallway phone to the front desk since I couldn't figure out how to use the type of phones they had in the rooms. The front desk gentleman said he would send someone up. He never did. It was wholly uncomfortable in that room. They need a full length mirror other than just a bathroom mirror. The complimentary soap, the napkins in the napkin holder, the toilet paper roll, all previously used, so not sanitary. The sofa bed ridiculously placed so that you have to move furniture to open it for use. I appreciate that it had a working microwave and larger sized freezer/refrigerator. I appreciated that there were dishes and a stove in the room. I want to say I remember a dishwashing machine in the room .... But I didn't have a need to use it and actually can't remember that. The valet parking while expensive was very helpful as the parking is quite limited. I ordered take out but they wouldn't let the delivery man upstairs
