This neighborhood hotel was our base during our NYC stay. A clean room with modern furniture and appointed artwork. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the Piano Lounge adjacent to the hotel a highlight with great entertainment and food / beverages. Will stay there again.

Romer was great! It was super convenient to the subway, theater district, and we felt safe the entire time coming and going. The rooms were bigger than standard NYC rooms and it was clean. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to NYC!! Thanks Romer!

Perfect location, clean and spacious rooms.

This hotel is a hidden gem. We chose the Romer because we needed 2 queen beds and that is very difficult to find in Manhattan. The location was perfect for us at it was .5 miles from Central Park and .5 miles to Times Square. It is just steps away from the theatre district. There is also a subway station across the street on all the direct lines up and down town. The hotel looked newly remodeled. Very clean, great service, if a little slow. Beds and linens were very comfortable. We will stay here again.

Great location and staff at a decent cost

The location is fantastic, and the staff both at the Hotel and at the parking nextdoor was very helpful. The only issue we had was with the bathroom not having an extractor, but this hardly detracts from the overall positive experience.

Artsy and lovely

We really liked this hotel! The staff was polite and really friendly. It's pretty artsy and interesting - nothing cookie cutter here. I think the only complaint we had was the AC in the room not cooling below 70°, but we may have been the only ones in the hotel trying to get it cooler than that in March, haha. Highly recommend.

Great front desk. Makes checking in after a long day stressfree and fun. Spacious room. Was concern with being on 5th floor will hear lots of traffic but I didn't. Room is clean, with safe deposit, mini refrigerator...will come back again for sure.
