Too dirty to be do expensive

Ive stayed here before and its an okay hotel. But since then the price has gone up significantly and the cleanliness is just not there. Dusty surfaces, mold in bathroom. Also the bathroom shower was just a slight dip in the floor and because the shower head woukdnt bend the shower flooded the bathroom floor everytime. Again - I would stay here if it was a good deal but its really not

We have been staying here at The Shelburne Sonesta since 2007 and would not stay anywhere else. We always book a one bedroom suite with a kitchenette...plenty of room for all 3 of us girls. Really like the neighborhood and all the restaurants near by. Easy walk to Times Square and Grand Central Station.

Property was in a great location and was decently priced. Staff was helpful and responsive to our request for more pillows (the room only had 2 when we walked in). We stayed overnight in January and had issues with temp. The room itself was warm but the bathroom still had the original windows. It was extremely drafty and at least 15 degrees colder in there than in the bedroom. We didn’t want to shower because of how frigid the bathroom was. Otherwise, location was decent and bed was comfortable.
