Reception Staff have to be more friendly. I had $35 credit that I couldn’t use because I forgot so I wanted to use it the last day, the lady told me I couldn’t so I lost it, she could provide options for me and don’t let me lose it like have a credit on my final statement.

The place is near to everything, subway, coffees, museums, restaurants, Time square. You can walk everywhere. Rooms is comfortable. But its to noisy, a lots of people.

The bad experience started with the check in process. The member that was helping me was so rude and didn’t care about helping you. The one next to him was making fun of an asian lady that had trouble understanding him. My room was not ready at 4pm when i did check in and he said that the earliest you can do check in is 4pm but that doesn’t mean the room will be available. While i understand that might be policy, his attitude was unacceptable. Then there is the whole elevator situation. The room was dated and warm. I will never be staying in this hotel and will not recommend.

The rooms don’t have a refrigerator. They charge $25 to have a refrigerator installed. There are no microwaves in the rooms. One wordhave to take food to the elevator area where there is a microwave shower fixture was broken. There is a charge of $35 per day which allows you a credit of $35 at one of the three restaurants on site. I believe that a hotel should be having refrigerators and microwaves in the rooms. This was disappointing. Location is excellent close to Time Square,

we are still waiting for an answer to the two-day destination fee charge. We spoke to a manager who was on duty on 05/25/2025. He told us that it was a computer error. we get a call or a credit on our credit card. But the manager didn't give us his last name when we asked.

The Sheraton is going through a renovation. I just hope that includes the rooms, because they are disgusting. For the price per night, I expect at least a clean room, not a closet with a bunch of brown-looking goo, a bathroom that has see it shares of bad days, and the dust around the beds. The location is perfect, and if these rooms were superbly clean with a working TV and remote, I would pay more.

Some of the staff at the front desk were extremely dismissive and unhelpful. M1 and M2 elevators were not operational for two days. As well as one of the elevator touch panels on the 27th floor. Every time we tried to bring it up, we were dismissed and told that they are operational. On the last day, we were told that it was fixed. It was not.

It was under construction. There’s only one entrance and exit. The bathroom needs towel hooks and the outlets on the lamp by the bed didn’t work. The employees in the gift shop were rude and Starbucks needs more employees.

Waiting 20 - 30 minutes for an elevator is unacceptable! It happened on more than one occasion. The beds are very high. I needed assistance getting up on the bed. Also, when a cot was requested for my 5 yo Grandson, I was told that it was a fire hazard, so he had to sleep on the floor. A microwave and refrigerator are just assumed to be present in hotel rooms these days - they were not.
