Basic option for NYC
If you want to stay in the area, walkable to Times Square and Bryant Park without being right there this is a good option. You can walk to the Javits and Hudson Yards too. Rooms are very small and there aren't many amenities. Beds are very comfortable. I've stayed at the one in Chicago and it's a lot nicer. There are no robes although it says they are offered.

Wonderfully clean & welcoming!
Very close to everything mid-town. Price is very comparable to all other hotels as well. Very clean room and friendly staff. They have a baggage check which we used both pre-check in time and after check-out as well. The room is small but the lobby is warm and has enough space to relax. They provide you with a reusable (pre-filled) water bottle which you keep and can fill up at their water station in lobby. It’s hard to get a dependably clean room in NYC so this was main reason we stayed. Compact but lovely!

I absolutely love this hotel & was so grateful to enjoy the fashionista adjoining rooms with family. The rooms are decorated nicely & the beds, linens, towels & robes are ultra comfortable. The front desk staff are also so welcoming and helpful. This location is so convenient to Penn Station, Theater District, restaurants & stores.

A cute, friendly spot
The location is great for those traveling by train. It is very walkable and near subway stops too. The front desk was helpful and friendly. The bathroom was clean. One of our pillows had a small stain on it and under the dresser/cabinet looked like it hadn’t been dusted in a year. We were looking for something that fell and found an old room key and a couple of other treasures left behind by former guests. The rooms were quiet. All in all, I would happily stay here again.
