The hotel was pretty great. The room was actually very spacious and clean, the only reason i would give it 4 stars is that the walk from the corner of the street to the hotel was pretty dark and iffy.

We enjoyed our stay at TRYP while in Manhattan. It was convenient and very clean. The room was great and the hotel was quiet. Would definitely stay again!

The location was great. Walking distance to the pier, Hudson yards, times square, empire state building, hells kitchen..etc.. the only negative is that my room was joining room and that was a safety concern for me. I did bring it up to the front desk but they were booked all weekend.

Night staff is ridiculously unhelpful and sits there on their phones don’t even give you any eye contact. Rooms are nice but wallpaper was peeling and floors were dirty with a grit/sand consistency. The restroom also does not have a fan so the moisture kind of stays and there is a lingering smell.

Room wasn’t very clean and sofa bed was not only dirty but it was very uncomfortable. There was a fridge but no microwave. For $600/night I was very disappointed with this hotel and was uncertain as to why it was listed on Hotels.com

Property advertises free airport shuttle, this is not true and they have no care to explain. Front desk hung up on me when I questioned it. The outside dining does not exist anymore so the only dining you’re getting is bar food. DO NOT GET BREAKFAST it was disgusting!! Make sure to ask for a room not near a maintenance or cleaning facility because they do not care who is sleeping or what time it is. Site says they have travel guides not true, thank god I planned ahead and asked questioned before arriving. Tub was clogged so bring swimming trunks 😂. I WILL NOT BE BOOKING AGAIN. On top of all this front desk was a hot mess minus 1 woman dark hair believe to be Hispanic, she was amazing, however only got to speak to her once
