The hotel is falling apart. It has outdated furnishings, the king sized bed should be replaced. It felt like laying in a gully. The hotel seems like its hemorrhaging money and resorts to looking for additional charges. At checkout it added a 45 dollar additional charge for services I never used, including internet. I was told everyone has to pay it regardless if they use it. I have stayed in several hotels in Manhattan and the Belvedere is one of the worst. If Manhattan was a house, the Belvedere would be the toilet. I would avoid this relic.

OK. For Manhattan

Decent and within walking distance. Was told I could check in early and stated I was walking from my office I was in the city for after walking 1.3miles was told by check in no. Also the water bottle filler machine drips SLOW when filling up and is pretty much useless. Hidden fee as a “Resort Fee” for pool gym…I was there one night and felt predatory in nature.

Limited amenities. Only conditioner and shampoo, and bath soap in big bottles - hard to squeeze. No shower cap or anything else except those BIG bottles. The conditioner was dried in the bottle. No coffee cups or coffee or tea

Great hotel

Always a great stay, most of the staff is friendly, and willing to help. The door man, and bell hop, are top tier. Always stay here. Great location, 2 block walking distance to time square, but away from all the noise.

My daughter and I stayed at The Belvedere Hotel while we were in town for a college tour. The location was perfect! It was within walking distance of the college, as well as many fun things we decided to do while there. We saw Hamilton and visited Times Square, we took an evening boat tour, we went to Central Park, and we walked to many great restaurants. Everything was very convenient. The hotel itself was nice. It felt very safe, the doorman and front desk staff were polite, the room was spacious (for NY), and it was clean. We would happily stay there again if we come back to Manhattan.

It was awful. The room was terrible the air conditioner was piercing and when I told the front desk when I checked out in the morning he just stared at me. The worst stay in NYC and I travel a lot. Elevators take forever, staff is rude, no room service and the rooms just feel gross. For $400+ a night just terrible.

Great Birthday Weekend!

We had a great stay, went for a birthday celebration with a friend and loved that we were so close to so many things. We were there to catch some Broadway shows and see the sights and the location of the hotel was perfect. The rooms were spacious and clean. The elevators were a little small and slow but it was a beautiful hotel. Would definetely stay again.

Property location is good but the property itself is very outdated. Standard rooms are old and there are thermostats to control the temperature. Got upgraded to a better room making the second half of our stay comfortable but would likely not book again.
