I enjoyed my stay at The Box Hotel. The team was nice and responsive. I will say there were a few maintenance issues; the toilet would not flush( but the team was very helpful in correcting the issue), the gym did not have sanitary whips or towels for the equipment, the ice machine on my floor was broken, there was no ice bucket in my room. But those few points aside I loved the esthetic and the rooms were nice and large. I look forward to going back and staying at the box hotel.

Clean and Comfortable in Greenpoint

Hotel was clean and quiet. The bed and linens were comfortable. Bathroom was nicely done with marble. Extra shelving was a nice touch for toiletries. Room was equipped with a nice size minifridge, coffee maker, tea kettle, as well as a wine bottle opener.

Stayed in a terrace suite. Had everything we needed for dining in and tons of space. The terrace was large and relatively private. Our only complaints were the couch being too low and the bed being too firm, but both were still totally doable. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

Have stayed several times due to family in area. This is the second time in the last 6 months where our room Was unavailable at check in time. Once an hour late and now an hour and 20 minutes. Yet to check in even 45 minutes early you will be charged $75 plus taxes. Reason for delayed check in was they had late checkouts. No empathy or this time no offer for a drink or

Great Hotel with Character

The Boxhouse Hotel is in a renovated factory or warehouse building. The interior design has a lot of character and is very Brooklyn. With tons of trendy bars, cafes and restaurants around it’s in a great location and as a former neighborhood resident I can say the area is very safe. I recommend getting breakfast included; it’s fantastic.
