Second time staying at the Knickerbocker for a few nights, and we’d definitely come back again. Good sized rooms by New York standards, and very quiet considering the central location (they must have some very good sound proofing going on!). Staff very friendly and helpful, and I enjoyed the Diptyque toiletries in the room. Location couldn’t be better for a weekend stay next to Times Square and all the sights. We also got a free round of drinks to use at the rooftop bar. Thank you!

The hotel was an excellent experience. Very much enjoyed the history and the service. The bed was very comfortable and the water pressure was amazing!! Clean and fresh and so close to the theatres on Broadway. The rooms felt a little dated for a 5-star hotel, but they were comfortable. There also wasn’t a real door on the bathroom, but a very heavy sliding door that was kind of awkward to use. And no fan to ventilate the bathroom. But I would definitely stay there again.

The rooms are nice and modern but the elevators are a pain, they don’t work properly and are slow. There’s good convenient access to Times Square but it’s also a bit noisy at night especially if you’re on a lower floor. They don’t create priority for their guests at their rooftop restaurant which is a bit strange. Overall I would not rate this a 5 star. It’s more like a 4 star
