It was an overnight pre cruise stay. It needs a LOT of maintenance and upkeep, it the location was good, the host was nice, the ‘breakfast’ is… well… go to Big John’s around the corner instead. For the price, it served its purpose

Great on a budget

We were looking for a quiet, clean place to sleep after spending each day out on the town with family in Brooklyn. This place was great, even accommodating several requests from us (early check in, extra pillows). It's basic, not fancy, but we felt welcome, safe, and comfortable. Will use this hotel on our next trip.

The location was close to the subway. Good little pizza place right down the road. Staff was attentive.

This hotel did the job for a solo stay in Brooklyn. Easy access to subway, sunset park and Chinatown within walking distance. Cleanliness was mediocre, the floor next the door was very dusty. The room had a piece of wood with nail in it when I went in. Overall looked old. Probably would stay here again if only choice, otherwise look for something else at this price point.

hotel is basic! location isn't great although subway is about a 6 min walk which made access to Manhattan easy! Rooms are basic but clean. Breakfast is basic. Parking is horrendous and limited. Staff were present but not friendly! In all it was doable!

I enjoyed staying at the L hotel in Brooklyn. The hotel was clean and the room was comfortable. We had a mini fridge and also a microwave. That was super convenient for us. What I didn’t like is that continental breakfast starts at 7:30 am. I wish it was earlier than that.

Hotel was decent enough. Relatively clean and very simplistic. No room service, which is fine if you aren't a sloppy person and keep the room tidy and your things organized. Staff was friendly enough - not outgoing, but not rude or anything. A very simple, basic hotel which is reflected in the price. I'd stay again. The neighborhood surrounding the hotel sucks though. Be aware of that.
