The bathroom is little better than a gas station bathroom. The bed is awful. It feels like a $100 discounted mattress. I was so uncomfortable and feel the physical pain of an awful mattress today. The walls are dirty and peeling. The shower head is gross, the bathroom is just “ick”. Do not recommend.

Old Hotel, Poor Service

The hotel was very old. While they are upgrading, the old rooms are in really bad shape and not very clean. Only two of the four elevators were working resulting in long waits and very cramped elevator rides. Front desk service was not great — not very friendly and didn’t answer calls from the room. The key cards also frequently stopped working, resulting in multiple trips to the front desk after being locked out of the room (which was very inconvenient considering the elevator issues). The room was also missing electrical plate covers for some outlets. If an upgraded room is not available, I would avoid this hotel.

I was extremely disappointed with this property. When I first arrived, they tried to put me in a room that I had not paid for and when I kept insisting that I was not going to be put in crappy room for one night and then move to the correct room, they finally gave me the room that I paid for - sharing a wall with the elevator. There are also ZERO amenities on the property, not even a pop machine (I was told that there was water and ice on each floor, lol)! The wifi was sketchy and you had to pay to have a fridge in your room. It is advertised that there is a business center; there wasn't. The "continental" breakfast offered for $15 was a joke (thank GOD for Applebee's and McDonald's around the corner!). At least it was within walking distance of all the theaters and Time's Square. The only time I was in my room was to sleep. My advice - if you pay for a specific room, insist on getting that room. The un-renovated rooms are exactly what the other reviewers were saying, according to some people I spoke to during my stay. The only redeeming thing about this whole thing was that the extra fees they were charging me were returned to me. Regardless, I would not stay here again.

The property I booked was not at all as described or shown in the listing on the Expedia app. Upon arrival, I encountered several serious issues: 1. Misleading Listing: The hotel’s actual condition was drastically different from what was advertised. The lobby and rooms looked completely different, the property was outdated, and the room had a strong, unpleasant odor. 2. Inappropriate Behavior by Hotel Staff: After giving us the room key, a staff member said, "Go see the room. If you don't like it, come see me and we'll see what favor you can do for me." This was unprofessional and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. 3. Additional Charges: Because the room was unacceptable and did not resemble the listing, I had to pay a fee out-of-pocket for an upgrade. When I approached hotel staff, they claimed they were not responsible for any inconsistencies because I booked through Expedia. I attempted to contact Expedia at the time, but your representatives were unable to assist. 4. Further Room Issues: Even after the upgrade, the room had no hot water, the bathroom smelled terrible, and the heater was not working.

The location is really good, close to all the main Broadway venues and commute to reach out the main attractions. But the Hotel is in a really poor condition and the management does nothing to accommodate their Guests. Why would a property offer their outdated Rooms at Expedia at the average 3.5-4**** price without any notification? Here are the problems I've encountered with: 1. The carpet in the Room (and in the Lobby at the 12th Floor where I stayed) was ugly and sticky. I've asked for the Slippers but they said they do not provide them, They told me that there are upgraded (renovated) rooms with the laminate floors but they do not provide them as Standard (though I paid viad Expedia USD $300+ per night). 2. Wi Fi did not work, neither on the phone nor at the laptop. Never. Though they provided some wifi password and tried to convince me that "there is a way" - nothing helped. For 5 days I stayed without internet connection and was not able to work from ym hotel room. I had only.my cell phone provider data. 3. There are no USB ports or at least convenient and modern power bars to charge cell phone, iWatch,powerbank etc. The ones available in the room, were located between the furniture and the walls and were completely useless. I had to ask for one more, and still it was not comfortable to use. I hope this comment will help other Guests not to book this hotel or least arrive there well-prepared.
