The hotel is well located but it's and old hotel. The room and the hotel have too many technical problems. And if you will visit in summer, you will feel a lot of humidity in the air and it will horrible if is in your room. I really can't not understand why this hotel is full all the time, if you can find betters options for the same price. I my case is a not coming back here.

I'd like to start by saying that the location and price of this property were great. Super close to restaurants, Time square, rockefeller center, subway stations etc. What I did not like about the property: 1-During our stay there was only 1 elevator that was working. We often times had to wait in line to take the elevator. 2-I paid to have the breakfast included but honestly it's not what I expected. I wasn't aware that there was no sit down option so its really just a grab & go situation. We only took a croissant and water on 1 of the 3 days because we were supposed to get coupons from the reception desk and there was always a line up and we had reservations so we had to run out. 3- The renovated room was very nice aesthetically however, the AC wasnt really working well and I was sweating all night even tho it was set to 16 degrees and it also made the room feel humid rather than cool. 4- the door to our room had about 1 onch gap from the floor so you can see the light from below the door and let me tell you, you can also hear the neighbors when they arrive at their room. This raises a safety concern for me because anyone can slip something easily under the door and it was annoying when I heard other people's doors opening and closing at 2-3 am. I added a towel at the bottom of the door to mask the sound.

The hotel have no fridge in the rooms, the AC wasn’t working, I notified the front desk about the Ac at least 5 times, maintenance only came up twice and didn’t bother checking the AC. They didn’t even ask if I wanted to switch rooms due to the ac issue. Just terrible. I’ve had better accommodations at smaller name hotels. The breakfast is a joke. Muffin, fruit and juice is what they give for breakfast.

The pictures on the listing of this Manhattan at Times Square is not the actual room. The quality of the room was horrendous. The A/C did not operate correctly and actually shut off 1 night of my 4 night stay (close to 100 degrees). The staff unprofessional and rude.

I was very disappointed w the state of this hotel. It is supposed to be under renovation, but this is ridiculous. 1. The bed was AWFUL. NO support at all. You could feel every single coil spring. 2. The air unit was very loud and rattled constantly. 3. The room is in desperate need of repair - peeling wallpaper, broken tiles in the bathroom, cruddy grout and caulk, gouges in the wood. 4. I tried to contact the staff (because of an issue w our flight). I called 3 different times and got bounced around phone trees and never spoke to anyone. I sent a message thru the Expedia app, it was never acknowledged or returned. I called the IHG corporate office, they were unable to speak to anyone at the hotel. 5. Many of the property amenities listed on the app (and the hotel’s website separate from Expedia) are not present. There is no snack bar/cafe. There is no coffee shop/cafe. There is no gift shop/ newsstand. There is no business center or computer station. I did not see TVs in the common areas. I found the gym/fitness center, but it was inaccessible. There is signage for a pool, no pool present. Ice machines are not available on every floor, but there is no notification of this. I had to ask at the front desk. This was a 5star price for a 1star experience

Location is excellent. Can find parking right around the corner at the parking garage on the best parking app for $40 24 hours. Front desk very accommodating and nice. Rooms are very basic the whole hotel needs a severe renovation. Front door gentleman were kind and courteous.
