We really enjoyed the 3 nights we stayed at the Moderne hotel. The room was a very good size, quiet, clean and had an amazingly comfortable bed. I would stay again for that bed alone. The staff are friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a great location, close to the subway, Central Park, Rockefeller centre and a lot of dining options. Cannot recommend highly enough.

This is my second stay at Moderne, and excellent both times. The room is modern, clean, comfortable. Shower is wonderful. One thing I don't like too much is the tray in the shower holding shampoo etc. It is a wire tray and the small bottles of shower products tip over easily. It would be better to have a tray with a solid base. Also, the shower products could be just a bit larger, not huge but maybe half again the current size. But this is a minor matter. The best thing about the hotel is the staff. Friendly, good-humored, efficient. We had a lot of laugh about Halloween costumes on the street while I was checking in. And the next morning when I couldn't figure out how to use the coffee/tea machine in the second floor lounge, the woman at the desk came up and gave me instructions. Very helpful. I like this hotel very much, and it will be my choice whenever I want to stay in this part of Manhattan. It is very close to MoMA and has a lot of good restaurants of every kind and level. Highly recommend this hotel.

The location was very convenient for my meetings. But the hotel is very small, and lacks some amenities that should be on offer given the price (such as a lobby, for starters). The small front desk is staffed by a single person, which means that you can wait 10-15 minutes to get a simple question answered (I could not remember how to find the WiFi password).

The room was tiny with no window We asked to move to another room. They did so to a tiny room with no air condition and with out mirrors. The water stop un the middle of shower. Its the worst hotel we ever been in

Wonderful boutique hotel right in the center of everything in mid-town. Room is small but very clean and has everything you need. Every member of staff was extremely friendly and helpful especially Khalid. Found out after we booked an Uber to the airport that the hotel offers an airport shuttle for a flat rate as opposed to my $65 Uber which ballooned to $111 due to heavy traffic. Would definitely stay here again.

Very quiet! Comfortable beds, great shower with lit up mirror. I was a bit chilly and they brought a little heater. Door men are very friendly and helpful. I frequent NYC and this was my favorite spot thus far

A great hotel with a great location! Can’t really complain. Everything was nice. Khalid and Andy were super helpful! The only thing I’d say is the mattress was pretty hard.. but other than that, was a great stay 👍
