A classic hotel with very courteous staff. Conveniently next to Moynihan Train station. The hotel rooms are above the 20th floor so street noises are distant. The bathroom fixtures are old school but the elegance and courtesy of the staff are timeless and appreciated.

Regarding the reservation I made on Hotels.com, they were perplexed. So, without notifying me, they overcharged me. After checking out, I gave them a call to settle the bill for my stay. The following day, I received my reimbursement.

The room was comfortable tiny but that’s New York! The sink had its original fixtures which added some charm to the room. The hallways were a bit old looking (which had me worried) but the room was fine. Super convenient location right at Penn Station where I traveled from, and the ACE trains.

The staff was great and super accommodating. The room was a good size and the bathroom was very clean. The only issue was the pullout bed was pretty uncomfortable, but the regular beds were nice. I will definitely be staying here again as it was close to the train station and within walking distance of many places.
