Hotel has a good view of Shea Stadium i call it, and a close view of the #7 train subway going to Main Street subway station 2 blocks away. Not so great breakfast selection. Great view of La Guardia airport area from our 10th floor room 1005. Our room had a safe for protection of valuables. But as a Yankee fan a very long subway train trip to the Bronx Yankee Stadium.

The room is very small but good for short stays. However, hallway lighting is very dim on every floor. The “rooftop bar” is pathetic it needs to be renovated. It appears this space is like an overhaul for junk and not well kept. Unfortunately, you can’t just sit up there to enjoy the views without consuming a beverage.

I was absolutely disappointed when I walked into my room. The photos of the hotel online are nothing like the actual rooms. I booked the reservation believing I would have huge windows. What is posted online is not at all what the rooms look like. The only pluses are close to shopping and US Open.

Great location
As with many NYC hotels, the room was rather small. But the location was excellent allowing us to walk to both a Mets game and the US Open Tennis tournament.
