Lovely stay in NY in The Shelburne Sonesta, in penthouse upgrade. Great staff very helpful. Absolutely nothing to pick from this hotel. Can see the Empire State building from the room. Stay in this hotel for an experience in NY.

Great location. The staff was so friendly and very helpful. A special thanks to Adam for his awesome recommendations and he was so accommodating and provided excellent service. The hotel room and amenities were excellent. I loved the view of the Impire State Building! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooftop bar and restaurant was wonderful. Breakfast and dinner at the main level restaurant were delicious. The area is absolutely walkable. I've recommended it to friends going to NYC soon.

5 min walking distance to Grand central! Has a really nice rooftop as well. Only thing I didn’t like that it’s very loud in the am, the cleaning people either dropping stuff on the floor or whatever they were doing. Everything else was perfect including the price!

I had an incredible stay at The Shelburne Sonesta in Murray Hill! The highlights for me were the private balcony views of the Empire State Building, the kitchenette (yes, even with an ice maker — such a luxury in NYC!), and the thoughtful details like zodiac-themed key cards that made the experience feel fun and unique. The staff was warm, attentive, and went above and beyond all week, which really made me feel at home. The location was perfect for exploring Midtown. I travel a lot for both business and events, and this hotel checked all the boxes: stylish, comfortable, and full of personality. I’ll definitely be back!

This hotel is a prime location with several great eateries within walking distance. I will not stay here again for several reasons. The rooms are not as shown on the website. The rooms are a bit antiquated, the bathrooms are super small, and the elevators were consistently broken. I’d like to add I was sent an option to upgrade the room in which I opted in. Upon arrival the front desk had no idea what I was talking about even after I showed him the email confirmation. This was definitely my first and last time staying in this hotel.
