The Standard Hotel has immediately become my go-to city stay. I’ve been here several times in the past. Most recently, only twice in the past year. Besides Meat Packing where it’s nestled in, access to the Highline and Little Island, the vast array of restaurants and shops, the hotel itself is the winner here. The rooms are cozy and chic, providing cleanliness and views. The natural light and cityscapes are eye catching. But it’s been the customer service for me that has won me over the past couple times, specifically with Annika. I had the worst week my last visit. The commute was frustrating. But upon entering the The Standard, Annika greeted me with a warm smile. Was professional, direct but personable. Whether she read my body language or operated as usual, she provided a calm, seamless upgrade experience for me. Was prompt with any requests or concerns. She made my experience in November 2023 and she did it again most recently 3 weeks ago. I was fortunate enough to be assisted by her again with the same exceptional experience as last time. Amazing hotel
Phenomenal help at the front desk. We weren't sure where we were going to stay and they helped us get a great last minute rate for a few days. Wonderful room and terrific atmoshphere. Everything felt like a surreal movie, it really emphasizes the artistic and creative nature of the High Line/Cheslea area. Will definitely be coming back again soon.

Website stated the restaurants were open until 1am and 2am on Saturday. We went out of our way to get to the hotel by 11pm to east and were told all kitchens were closed by restaurant staff. The hotel staff had no idea. Nothing else to eat around that area. We were told to order room service and that was terrible.

There is a reason I keep returning to the Standard highline over and over and over again… The staff is incredible and kind and accommodating. That’s the most important part of this experience for me. The Standard takes extremely good care of me every time I show up I really feel like part of the family. Not many hotels that remember you remember what you like and are always one step ahead of you when it comes to service and accommodation It really is my home away from home
