I was unable to stay at the hotel. When I arrived to check in around 10:45 PM, I was informed that there was no room available for me due to an overbooking caused by the third-party booking company (Expedia).
This left me stranded late at night with a suitcase and no accommodation. I had to urgently book another hotel, which ended up costing $500 more due to limited availability at that hour.
This experience was extremely stressful and disappointing. If adequate steps aren’t taken to address this issue and the added costs, I will be hesitant to use Expedia in the future.
I look forward to a prompt resolution.
