Maid service was spotty. Had to ask for towels several times and no vacuuming during entire stay of 7 days. Also website said restaurant onsite but was closed.

Excellent location, but hotel is otherwise poor. If you are happy with very tired rooms, WiFi that doesnt work, zero tea/coffee making facilities etc in exchange for a great location then this is the place for you. But go in with eyes open. This hotel doesn’t spend a penny it doesn’t have to.

GOOD: Very friendly and helpful staff, from the front desk to the housekeeping and maintenance people. The suite was huge by NY Hotel standards, probably larger than the apartments most people live in. Room was quiet and clean. We had a nice view of the Chrysler building. BAD: Two air conditioners. One in the livingroom area didn't work at all. The one in the bedroom was very weak and almost nonfunctional, so the room was uncomfortably warm when we slept. Housekeeping generally forgot one thing every day, though it was different each day. Sometimes towels, sometimes washcloths, sometimes paper cups, sometimes something else.
