We’ve been to this location before and, it definitely has not been kept up. Our room was dirty, there was a barking dog next-door to us all day long, and many of the staff were not very courteous when we were asking for recommendations and directions in the area. Will not be staying at this location again.

No Double-room for you!!!
We reserved a two double-bed room. I checked in at 5 pm, a full hour after the required time, and was told that the room was not ready and the clerk could not give me a time when that would occur. She suggested I wait in the lobby area. I said we had tickets to a 7 pm play at The Shed over at Hudson Yards and needed to shower and change from our long flight. She replied there was nothing to be done. I asked to see the manager, and he offered several excuses as to why the room wasn't ready. He couldn't give a time when the room would be ready either. With a great deal of exasperation bordering on attitude, he gave me a room with a king-sized bed overlooking an exhaust vent spewing smoke/steam right in front of the window. I have stayed several times at this hotel--it has always been a pleasant experience. Not this time! The furniture in the room was worn, chipped, stained, and frayed--kinda unappealing for the price we paid. Not sure I'll return...

Very nice stay at this Westin in Times Square! The staff was very friendly and the food was excellent. The room was very nice and roomy for a NYC hotel. We had to ask twice for towels to be brought to us, since there weren't enough in the room for the number of people in it (4). There was also an extra charge of $35 every day that I wasn't aware of before booking - that needs to be in big letters somewhere. Overall, a nice stay!
