This was an okay accommodation. Some parts were better than others.
Pros:
- Extremely walkable, subway station right outside the hotel
- Affordable
- Big enough if you have limited items. we had 2 carry ons and a bag.
- AC in the room
- Balcony
Cons:
- Sheets are really itchy and not super breathable
- Hotel staff entered our room despite asking them not to with the “do not disturb” door sign.
- Only replaced towels, did not make our bed or change the sheets. One time, they fixed our fitted sheet but left the comforter in a jumbled pile. really confusing.
- Every time I saw somebody, they asked me if we were checking out - including less than an hour after we checked in….
- Balcony was shared with another room, which meant we couldn’t leave our window coverings open. The balcony offered the only table to sit at.
We had a few weird experiences with people asking us all the time if we were checking out, but otherwise it was pretty good. Good value for the money, but they also charged us $40 more than what was listed on the reservation. Not sure for what.
