We loved our stay here and highly recommend it. The room was spacious and clean, with a very comfortable bed. It was also very quiet as far as NYC hotels go, which is a huge plus. We will definitely be back!

Great hotel in a cool area.

Great hotel in a cool area. The first time heading down the alley felt intimidating, but only the first time. The worst thing about the alley was dodging the 'influencers' filming or doing a photoshoot! The hotel was spotlessly clean, especially the room. I'm not 100% sure, but I think we might have had clean bed linen every day. The free coffee and pastry for breakfast were very welcome, too. And the staff serving were really friendly too, trying to give away extra cake. Finally, to top it all, the view from the room was stunning.

The hotel has a very hip and cool vibe. The graffiti alley and decor was great! We loved our room with the balcony and view. Bed was very comfortable. First time in a hotel with no closet. It made hanging clothes challenging. The only issue for me was the odor of the shower curtain. It didn’t smell clean and should be replaced (#1202) and the water didn’t stay hot for long in the shower. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay very much.

A hidden gem

What an amazing surprise at an absolute steal! The hotel is tucked away down a colorful alley. The entire vibe of the hotel was sophisticated and chic. There were several couples from France, the UK and Germany there. It was clean and well-serviced (with daily towel/maid service), and close by to Chinatown, Little Italy, Soho and NYU. We felt safe walking about at night, and there was free coffee and pastries daily in the diner downstairs, and a fantastic little tattoo parlor (one of our our party got a fantastic tattoo there). The room was small, but had everything one needed - including mini fridge. We didn't find the room noisy - though NY is the city that never sleeps so there's always going to be city noise. Would love to stay here again! Would definitely recommend.

Super tiny room with bunk beds. I fell off the ladder in the middle of the night, resulting in needing to use a knee scooter to get around. Bunk beds are not a safe idea for a hotel room.
