The room was clean and the staff were accommodating and nice! Our only complaint was that the thermostat would only go down so low before stopping, and each morning we woke up sweating. The only relief came from opening the window, but the sound of the wind on the high floor was so loud we were wary of disturbing other guests. Obviously we do not think that the wind noises are within the control of the hotel, but I would have loved to be able to cool the room further with temperature control.

While the staff was great, the room was so so. There is 1 drawer, no coffee pot (and no coffee shop on site or nearby), no microwave, no refrigerator (not counting the one they have filled with drinks), the bathroom allows for no privacy, and the beds are horrible. Hard as a rock with no give. Will not stay there again.

Great staff who are professional, friendly and helpful but compared to other W properties that jave a clean luxury feel this Times square location needs a lot of upkeep with the cleanliness of the rooms. Beds sheets etc.. were cleana dn fresh but the furnishings and fixings were all very run down and dirty. Our room.had a thermostat.that didn't function and we were pretty uncomfortable. Obviously its hard to maintain constant upkeep in NY city hotels specifically those in tomes square die to the consitant traffic if people in and out but no worries when it comes to the important thinhs like bedding and bathrooms.
