Hotel is clean.. upon arrival I was given a key to a room that was already occupied and walked in on somebody.. also lots of noise throughout the night doors slamming , dogs barking , etc
Unfortunately, I had very little space to move around.
Firstly, the bed was way too high.. I had to use my suitcase as a step up.
The bed was turned sideways. Parallel to the pre installed head board.
The drapes were moldy at the base.
I go back. I'm sorry.
Although the property looks new it was not an ideal stay according to pictures. I got this hotel bc the price point and location and my boyfriend and I are from NY so we were going to be in and out so we didn’t need a fancy hotel.
To start, this is a small hotel. There are about 5 rooms on each floor. 4/5 floors. You can hear every single door slam all day and night. Even the bathroom door in your room bc there are not door stops. There are no dining options which was not important to me.
It is in the middle of soundview bx so expect a lot of noise. It is convenient since it is right next to the 6 train. But you will hear the train day and night. Also.. This hotel offers hourly rates. Meaning there are people coming in for just a few hours to do their thing and you can hear every noise especially if they’re on the same floor since the walls are paper thin. Also this is a smoking hotel. So even if you’re in a non smoking room you will deal with the smoke since it’s so small. We stayed for 7 days and there was no room service. Had to ask a few times for clean towels. I had to complain a few times about having to hear the seggs and smell the smoking and each time they offered to change my room. But it’s an inconvenience to keep having to move all of our belongings.
I personally wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone or stay here again. And that’s a lot coming from a NYer

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
It got the job done if you really just needed to lay your head at night. I think the building is not smoke free so our room smelled of cigarettes smoke and it was pretty strong and quite uncomfortable that way. Otherwise everything else was good and generally safe. No bugs.
I didn’t stay, this hotel should not be on any major booking sites. This hotel is an hourly rate, hooker hotel, situated in the worst part of the Bronx in NYC.
Cheapish hotel in the Bronx. If you are visiting nyc and need a bed and shower for 2 total adults, this is the play. Right by a train that will take you all the way downtown. Friendly staff. Wish it was no smoking, but whatever. It was a nice hotel imo

Liked: Staff & service, amenities
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Elevator smelled like “why would you do that” and the room smelled like “what happened in here” but ain’t nothing some candles didn’t fix. I will say the room didn’t wow me like it did in the picture but I was comfortable and cozy. The customer service was great and the neighborhood was live I just wish the walls wasn’t so thin. I’d definitely come back either way whenever I’m in New York again
