I’ve stayed at YOTEL NYC many times over the years, but my June 2025 visit was a total let-down. The cabin’s walls were scuffed and chipped in multiple spots and the entire room smelled of cigarette smoke despite the hotel’s “100 % smoke-free” claim when I checked in. One elevators rattled on every ride and its ceiling lights flickered nonstop—hardly reassuring. Worst of all, Mission Control tried to charge me a “loyalty” fee of $70 just to store two items for 4 hours after checkout. The location is still handy for Javits Center events, but between the deteriorating rooms, safety concerns, and nickel-and-diming, YOTEL no longer delivers the value it once did. I’ll be choosing another hotel on my next trip.

The room(2625) had a very bad smell. It was soo hot no matter how low the air was. There was no iron, when I asked for one, they said they would bring it up and never did. Thank God I was able to get one from someone else staying there. I will never stay here again! Unreal for the price!!

This hotel has terrible service the people at the desk and the people at the front are just abrupt. There’s some weird robot that takes your luggage and it breaks down every five seconds but in order to leave your luggage before after check-in or check out, you would have to pay three dollars per piece. The rooms feel like a cheap cruise ship. everything is cramped and the color and the lighting feel cold and uninviting

There was a mysterious and gross splatter over a portion of our room. Quite yucky. Would not recommend, if you enjoy your hotel stays splatter-free. The app won't let me upload a picture - which is probably for the best, as it was so yucky.
