Our room had a horribly strong marijuana odor - extremely strong and unpleasant. We couldn’t switch rooms because they were sold out. The hotel lobby was nice - the breakfast very good. But overall I couldn’t wait to be out of the hotel room and breathe fresh air… Extremely disappointed management would allow the room to be occupied given the horrible lingering smell

Convenient... However....

The hotel is located in a very sketchy neighborhood.... the hotel itself is nice ( the lobby and common areas). We stayed to go to an event and it was eithin walking distance. We parked in the attached parking garage and it was $30 per night with unlimited in and out once your parking ticket is stamped by the front desk. The lobby is located on the 2nd floor and you need a key to get into the building at all times. From the paking garage you have to take a flight of stairs to get to the front desk... overall - the configuration of the hotel is very odd. We had a king bed with no king pillows and our room didn't have a full length mirror. Let's just say I'll probably won't ever stay there again.

The staff was not very friendly. The walk from the parking to the hotel reception was unsafe, as you have to walk through the parking lot to get to the reception. Amenities were just not there. There was not even a bottle of water.

It’s scary to walk to Penn Station (Newark) from hotel. Lots of transients and homeless. Once you get on the train and get to NYC it’s a great location for that convience.

Property was attached to garage that was attached to Prudential Center, which made it easyfor us to get to our event and back. Only complaint would be not to have a room facing main strip, especially on a Friday night. Street noise was very loud, sounded like cars were racing and loud music well past midnight. But other then that, it was great. Just ask for a no view room!!
