It's the little things that make a property great. This property did not have complimentary water, lacked a pen for writing, and lacked any information regarding the property and surrounding area. Also, I requested an extra ice bucket at the front desk and I never heard back.

Terrible, heartbreaking, and totally stressful experience! I literally got kicked out and was told my reservation was canceled although Expedia still had it as booked and confirmed. The front desk agent told me that they had no more rooms left and my name and reservation were not on the list and my room was canceled due to a rejection of my credit card and that I had to leave. My reservation was “reserve first, pay later” also if there were any rejections then Expedia would have notified me as I had made this reservation months in advance and there was nothing sent to indicate an issue. I was in town for a concert which I had to be at in less than 2 hours and I had no where to go. I was so shocked and traumatized that I had to sit down to collect myself and a girl came up to me and asked if I was going to the same concert as her and I said I was and she offered to share her room with me. I was so thankful and went up her to get ready. On our way down the agent saw me and called me over asking for my name again. When I told him he went to the back for a few minutes and then came back WITH MY RESERVATION AND ROOM KEY! No apologies at all. He just started going on about the hotel policies and wifi code and then told me to go ahead and pay with my card. Imagine if I had just left. I was prepared to go to the train station for the night until my wonderful new friend came to my rescue. Now a fear has been unlocked with hotel reservations and Expedia due to this disaster.

The front desk person who helped me check in and check out was unfriendly, and the staff was rude to the Uber driver who arrived to pick me up in the morning. It's just an unnecessary way to behave. The housekeeping staff were kind, and the room was very comfortable.

They did not acknowledge the last day of my booked stay. I was forced to ask Expedia for a refund which I used to book another hotel. They offered no solution to their problem. Expedia was great at resolving my issue. The lobby attendant was indifferent to my situation.

The morning front desk reservation crew is terrible, NOT costumer service oriented. The morning female security guard spends more time upstairs chatting with the front desk ladies, than providing security at her post. The furniture at the lobby is aged, worn, and dirty as the elevator doors on the inside. The lady from the restaurant also spends more time at the front desk chatting than attending the costumers in the restaurant. The two gentlemen attending the front desk in the afternoon, are extremely professional and costumer service oriented for sure. The surrounding area is loaded of homeless people harassing the costumers. I left the hotel early, cutting my reservation short due to lack of security. This Double Tree is NOT a representation of the Hilton quality I have experienced before. I will not visit this hotel ever again.
