No Bueno!
There were drug addicts or bums hanging outside of the hotel which put me at ease. The flooring was squeaky and you can hear everything. Also, I could hear other guests talking and walking outside of my room. Especially, the couple talking at 3am right across my room that kept me up all night.

The property was poorly maintained and unclean. Hair all over the bathroom floor, the carpet looks like it hadn't been vacuumed in weeks. There were holes or soft spots in the subfloor under the carpet. I nearly twisted my ankle in one spot right outside the bstherom door. The furniture is worn and in generally poor condition, The bedding was older. The front desk staff appeared less interested in being friendly to customers. The property appeared to be housing what appeared to be homeless people and what seemed to be migrants. Every time I stepped in or out of the property individuals were begging for money and they were staying in the hotel as well. I booked this hotel with the understanding it was not gonna be the Taj Mahal, but I also didn’t expect it to look like and feel like a filthy rundown Ellis Island holding center. It felt very unsafe. In the neighborhood itself is a little seedy to say the least.

Beware doing the park and fly thing here. The parking website will say there's a shuttle to the airport. There is no shuttle. AC didn't work (unit was on, but the buttons did nothing). Noisy during the day, noisy at night. Note - there is an elevator as you leave the lobby to the left. Clerk said nothing as i struggled with my bags and headed to the stairs. Guess they count on people coming back, for some reason. Cannot imagine any reason to.

Felt very unsafe
Hair all over everything in the bathroom.Very thin walls could hear my neighbors upstairs fighting all night and it sounded like they were throwing each other on the ground. I woke up multiple times during the night because of this. The room was very empty. I felt very unsafe while being here.

Easy access to Newark, Oranges and Elizabeth. Maid service is great. Internet works well. Room is clean. The TV cable system sucks. Continental Breakfast is no longer included.
