We stayed at The George over a weekend visit to our son and his family who live nearby. The hotel is located in a residential corner of Montclair, easy walking distance to the Montclair Art Museum, Van Vleck Gardens, and restaurants. The decor is eclectic but cohesive and charming. We had a spacious corner room that was very comfortable and inviting. The breakfast offerings are excellent. The sitting room invites lingering with its gas fireplace, comfortable seating, and games. We are likely to return in future.

We loved the full size candy closet, Nespresso machine in the room, the George has its own Netflix. Beds are comfortable, and the all around vibe is just great.

Great location! Convenient to many shops and restaurants within walking distance. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful and went above and beyond making our stay extra special. The continental breakfast was delicious and all the little extras at this hotel made it the perfect hotel for our stay in NJ. We will be back!
