The hotel is in an ideal location for anyone flying into Newark airport. We flew in from the west coast for a surprise party. We have family spread throughout East/Central New Jersey. We stayed at this facility before under a different ownership & found nearly everything improved under Hilton’s ownership. The room was spotless. Linens clean & the beds have a great sealed cover to prevent bedbugs. The breakfast was meh, but there’s a Duncan & McDonalds very close by, as well as plenty other options. Every single member of the staff were helpful & courteous. The one glaring exception was the horribly dirty & stained hallway carpets. It seemed like the carpet directly in front of the elevator was a mess on each floor. I mentioned it in a reply to an automated text message on my second day, but nothing was ever done about it during our 5 night stay. Other than that, 5 stars.
