This hotel brands itself as an above average hotel with amenities consistent with their prior years top rankings. Although that may have been the case then, the overall facility, as far as a hotel, does not provide anything more than your run of the mill chain hotel. The rooms were comfortable and the facility clean, however there was no on-site restaurant or bar (desk said it was under renovation, maybe open by November… 5-6 months) and their breakfast buffet consisted of bread/pastries and a tray of cheese empanadas. They do appear to focus on being an event destination, which is fine, but that does not filter over to the overnight guest. Their literature focuses on that part of the business and is somewhat outdated.

We were surprised after reading the reviews of this hotel on how poor our experience went for our 4 night stay. The problems started immediately when we arrived. The front desk attendant was rude and would not answer our questions. He just wanted us to give us our key and get it out of his hair. In our room, the sink was not draining, the shower was not giving hot water, the shower faucet was about the fall off, the air conditioner was making a lot of noise, there were strange smells throughout the hotel, We complained about these maintenance issues the first night and they were never fixed. We kept going to the front desk to ask them to fixed but they did not do it. We also got woken up one morning at 6am with a fire alarm that was caused by someone burning their toast. The alarm was so loud and it took almost an hour before they could get it turned off. The coffee at breakfast was actually watered down significantly and tasteless. The employees at the breakfast were rude and not helpful. I would never recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. I am shocked there were so many positive reviews for one of the worst hotels we have stayed in over 25 years of travelling worldwide.
